I have deleted the sentence "The impact the article had on the Singaporean blogosphere is enormous." I guess that can be considered a bad sentence. I have also deleted the sentence "This time, the point-by-point rebuttal of her letter was entirely handled by various Singaporean bloggers". "to try" was removed from the sentence "Ms Yvonne Lee Ching Ling, an Assistant Professor in Law at NUS, wrote a letter[1] to the Straits Times to try to rebut Mr Devan's article."

I hope that'll make this paragraph more wiki-friendly. I'm now removing the weasel and tone warnings from the paragraph. MatchStickEleven (talk) 14:35, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As for paragraph "377A debate and the rewriting of pluralism"

"shot to fame among Singaporean bloggers for an" was deleted from the sentence "October 27 2007, Mr Devan shot to fame among Singaporean bloggers for an article he wrote in the Straits Times titled "377A debate and the rewriting of pluralism" ".

"And arguably, her most controversial " was replaced with "A Controversial". "Arguably" is defined as a weasel word by wikipedia. The sentence "Being a government owned newspaper, it usually praises whatever policy the government decides to pursue." has been deleted.

I will now remove the "tone" warning. MatchStickEleven (talk) 14:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
