The term "Silent Film"

[edit]

The term "silent film" is used to describe the film The Artist. This is not actually a silent film, but instead a mostly silent ode to the early epoch of filmmaking. I left the term there when I reformatted the introduction a tad, but wanted to see what others thought. Nstanton0505 (talk) 00:21, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. When the artist is in the cabin (*), we hear the sound of an object he let fall. So he understands a new world is here, with speaking movies. (*) Backstage green artist's dressing roomMagnon86 (talk) 18:02, 15 January 2023 (UTC)magnon86[reply]

Prononciation du nom

[edit]

L'article débute par "Jean Edmond Dujardin" mais le bouton "écouter" ne donne que "Jean Dujardin.

The article begins by the complete name, but only first and last name are pronounced by the button.2001:861:3E0C:D4E0:C1D0:D2AD:B7F0:A579 (talk) 17:56, 15 January 2023 (UTC)magnon86[reply]
