Notability[edit]

@South Nashua: Inserting this template here had no justification. Kostrowicki is one of the most famous Polish geographers. He also has coverage in the most reliable source. Americans are not the only scholars – in Europe there are strong scientific traditions too. English Wikipedia is often the main source of information about foreign cultures for people from throughout the world, so we should present the global point of view. @Propositum: If he's among the most famous Polish geographers, you're welcome to place references backing up that claim. "All material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists and captions, must be verifiable." South Nashua (talk) 20:28, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@South Nashua: You can read it in any book, e.g. Maciej Iłowiecki, Dzieje nauki polskiej, Warszawa 1981, p. 280. Everyone who is familiar with the topic knows that. And anyway it is clear from the article... Propositum (talk) 02:07, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Propositum: That's fine if it's added to the article. Without references, this article probably should be deleted. South Nashua (talk) 17:11, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
