New Article
[edit]Recently finished this article for an economic anthropology course. It's a graded assignment for me, so I'd like a chance to discuss any proposed major changes before they get made, for the next couple of days. Thanks! Bearmo2 (talk) 05:26, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Future Development
[edit]Looking to some future development that can be done to improve the article, I think some more attention to the involvement of unions in urban labor probably needs some mention. I suppose the overall decline of "King Cotton" in the American economy, especially after WWI, needs some type of elaboration (although that is also a topic of the overall American economy, so it needs to be pretty focused for use in this article). I probably need to think about a short synopsis that could be embedded in some other articles, under "building the web." Hopefully, that can generate some interest with other editors. Thanks, Bearmo2 (talk) 23:05, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
