Why is it relevant that her relationships were with men 5 and 7 years younger than her? No one would make any note of it if it were the other way around - that's nothing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.65.182.238 (talk) 15:47, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Missing fingers?

[edit]

According to the (unsourced) IMDb listing, Moore was missing several fingers on one of her hands, possibly due to the childhood automobile accident. Can anyone confirm this? If true, this would be a noteworthy addition to the article. 23skidoo (talk) 15:15, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm...I'm not sure if that's true. There's not a whole lot about Ms. Moore out there reference wise, and the only book I know of that really talks about her life is her daughter's book. I read it years ago and don't remember that tidbit off hand, but I'll try to find the book and see if there's anything to confirm it. Pinkadelica Say it... 22:06, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The missing fingers would have been from a later car crash, as she was not in the vehicle in the 1941 car crash that kileld her mother, sister, and later father. Sf46 (talk) 16:21, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Info

[edit]

Why is there no mention of Joanna Moore as the character "Nurse Peggy" on the Andy Griffith Show?Rwood3 (talk) 03:02, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's in the lead of the article. Pinkadelica 03:17, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The High Chaparral

[edit]

The High Chaparral episode 1969 (Fair Lady) is missing. Played Charlene 'Charly' Converse— Preceding unsigned comment added by Plmerry (talkcontribs) 09:14, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's not "missing", it just wasn't a part of the selected filmography. Selected means just that - selected. Moore's filmography it too extensive to list each and every one of her appearances. I attempted to add as many as I could within the body and in the chart in order to give it all balance and to stop the "but this is missing!" complaints but someone still complains about one being missing. Sheesh. If I knew it would be this much trouble, I would have left the damn chart out. Pinkadelica 10:02, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
On closer inspection, it appears that The High Chaparral already was included in the selected filmography. It bear the episode name and everything. Fancy that. Pinkadelica 10:09, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Father's occupation?

[edit]

The press report of Joanna's memorial service indicate he was an 'atomic scientist.' The 1940 census indicates he was a 'wholesale clothing salesman.' https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1971-27878-10928-72?cc=2000219 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stembark (talkcontribs) 18:54, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Enjoyed her work

[edit]

I enjoy seeing her in the tv shows of the past.. She really seems to glow and has a contagious smile and also seems very happy. 166.182.255.37 (talk) 22:16, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The episode of Route 66 she was in was called “There I am, There I always am.” It aired May 4th 1962. On her filmography write up it has an incorrect title for this his episode. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.13.62.170 (talk) 11:42, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
