Fair use rationale for Image:JohannKraus.jpg

[edit]

Image:JohannKraus.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

One "s" or two?

[edit]

Is it Kraus or Krauss? This article doesn't seem to be able to make the decision as his surname is spelt with both one "s" or two, often in the same paragraph. The film makes it clear that it is spelt with two "s"'s... but I can't remember how it's spelt in the comic?
I think, for the sake of sanity, that the article should stick by one spelling... but which one?
Cheers,

To make it even more confusing: If the name is not spellt with one s it is likely that the name is spellt Krauß with ß as in German orthography there usually is no double consonant after a diphtong. As the english keyboards have no ß on it is usual to write ss instead of ß and so it, is done in German speaking parts of Switzerland, in Lichtenstein (where they abolished the ß) and in other German speaking areas, when writing in capital letters because there is no official captial ß.--BECK's 19:49, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Austrian

[edit]

Could someone provide us with a link showing the deleted line in the screenplay that depicts Krauss as an Austrian? -- Orthographicus (talk) 19:11, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
