Notability?

[edit]

Apart from the obvious formatting problems here, I have a more basic issue. Is the reserve team of a famous club like Ajax in its own right? I think not, and nominated this article for speedily deletion, which was declined. I have asked the folks at the Football project for their views: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Notability#Club reserve teams.

It's famous because it's competing in the national cup very often. In 2002 it even reached the semi-finals, before being beaten on penalty's. When it would have made it to the final, it would have met the first team of Ajax. The name is bytheway Jong Ajax, not Jong AFC Ajax. JacobH (talk) 20:04, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jong Ajax squad

[edit]

There have been several new acquisitions, as well as new changes in the format at Ajax, with the reserve squad now competing in the Eerste Divisie. I have listed the players that are currently under contract (some likely to leave) as well as the new players, I will clean up the the squad section as the preseason goes along, and will lock in the final squad, as soon as it anounced by the club. Until then the list of players will stay as it is, until they allocate their players and determine on which squads they will be playing. Subzzee (talk) 4:48, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
