I recently encountered this page by accident about my father.

It was full of innaccurate information, factually incorrect references to published works, and a political bias. I was able to 'flatten out' the tone of the page during my original edits, but upon returning to the page I find almost every one of my edits to the page now has {citation needed] attached to it.

I uploaded 3 pictures to Wikipedia Commons: Pepe_Yugo_y_Flechas_Mexico112402.jpg

This is a picture taken in the mid-1950s of my father with othe expatriate Falangists. [citation needed]

This pic is of a membership card showing employment by Guest Airways, one of my edits that has [citation needed] attached to it

Pepe_Japan_air_1960112402.jpg

This pic is of his employee ID from Japan Airlines, again [citation needed]

I am at a disadvantage to the "published historians" with their factual errors. All I have is 24 years of direct contact with my father before he died, a box full of photographs, newspaper clippings, and documents. Cited in the page is a book referencing his leaving Spain in 1938 by Reese. I have pictures of him working with the government up thru 1944, as well as many pictures of post-war parades and gatherings.

I noticed the Retiro Park rowboat concession was not [citation needed} so I don't have to post a 1947 picture of him with the rowboats.

In regards to his wounding, if I wanted to fill the page with pictures, I could post a picture in front of a building in Talavera de la Reina with a shell hole above the window where his hand was bandaged after the middle finger of his right hand was blown off from shrapnel, and he is using a cane where he received shrapnel to his left leg.

I could also post numerous pictures of meetings, rallies, parades, and gatherings, prior to, during, and after the civil war, but I don't want to.

My biggest problem is I was raised away from Spain and if my dad discussed his 1937-39 years, I was too young to comprehend it, and because of the language and context barriers I have an impossible task of ciphering this era of his life.

If this page is going to be a biography of Pepe Sainz, I would like to see it as a full life biography instead of a slanted politically biased time-slice. I also don't need to [cite] what I lived.Tuned2 (talk) 11:01, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why do Wiki editors keep taking down public domain pictures, or pictures that I have in my possession and own of my father? Having a differing opinion about one aspect or another is one thing, but deleting pictures is another.

When I originaly found this article, it said he had died in 1938, citing an eronous published reference in the Reese book. I am 51 years old. Do the math. I disproved that beyond any doubt. I am not a scholar and aquainted with all these Wiki protocols, but having someone come in behind me and deleting public domain pictures is frustrating. Revisionist history?
