Carlist standard
[edit]From what I know, the cross of Burgundy was not adopted by the carlist movement until 1934. Perhaps this coat of arms, which was adopted by the Carlist movement around 1890 would suit better for Carlists prior to 1934. What do you think?--Duquedearanjuez (talk) 20:55, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
"new organization, Comunión Tradicionalista"
[edit]I think that this is not quite accurate, since the name Comunión Tradicionalista as the party's name was commonly used by Carlists since the late 19th Century. The author José Carlos Clemente is completely (and probably intentionally) wrong when he says that the name was adopted in 1931, with the name prior to that date being "Carlist Party" (which actually wasn't used since, at least, 1909). Perhaps the most used name by Jaimistas in the 1920s was Comunión Legitimista, emphasizing their loyalty to the legitimate King, but Comunión Tradicionalista was a quite old name to define the party. Therefore, in my opinion it can't be regarded as a "new organization". Since mellistas and integristas also accepted Alfonso Carlos' leadership and his right to the crown, I think it would be more accurate to say that they joined the Comunión Tradicionalista (which wasn't a new thing at all) instead of saying that the 3 parties merged together into a new organization.--Duquedearanjuez (talk) 22:38, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
