I am assuming this was a drive-by tagging. This was the chief financial officer of one of the largest investment banks in the world, covered by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, among others. If anything, (and really anything), there is room for more content and more sources. A solid Wikipedia stub article. If there is something to improve, just add more content or sources per WP:BUILDWP. I know I will when I get a free second. WP:A7 is easily addressed in the content of the article. --AINeArbO (talk) 08:06, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@AINeArbO: You are free to assume that it's a drive by tagging, however most of the sources especially the one from Wall Street Journal and New York Times which in no way mention the subject Joseph Willit. Those references in no way support notability of this page. Please kindly confirm that my findings are right. You can either take it to draft space and try building up, if so i would be very much happy to remove the CSD template. ShunDream (talk) 08:34, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@ShunDream: I'd love to build it up, can I do it here? What is the "draft space"? AINeArbO (talk) 08:36, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@AINeArbO: Draft space are basically spaces where draft are created and developed. You can edit and do all the work you wish to do on an article till you feel it's ready to be published in the mainspace. It's practically like having a Microsoft word where you create and edit your article until you;re ready to publish. If you wish i can help you move it to draft space? @ShunDream: Are you referring to the sandbox? I'd rather just resolve the WP:A7 issue on the main space. Basically my reasoning was that, according to WP:BASIC, the subject has nobility. Multiple independent sources identify him as a high ranking member of Merrill Lynch, which was itself one of one the largest investment banks in the world. This article also goes with the notion that multiple sources can establish notability in absence of one substantial one. What do you think I should do to further establish the subject's notability?  Done Alright, looks like its been cleared. Let me know if there's anything I could do to improve the article. AINeArbO (talk) 10:02, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The spelling of his last name is "Willett" not "Willit". Several footnotes (eg, 4 and 6) include his name in the headline. Tom10023 (talk) 12:14, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
