So heart-wrenching !

[edit]

I first saw this film back in 1996. After seeing it, I felt so much for the family that had just lost their son. I had to go to work afterwards as I worked 2nd shift so I had to contain myself as it wouldn't do for me to start sobbing right there in the middle of the dry-packaging department of the Pillsbury plant. About five years later, I saw the film in the foreign section of a video rental store and shared the info with the Erdemir sisters, friends of mine. I warned them to have a BIG box of Kleenex on hand. They did not believe me. They eagerly went out, rented it, and later told me how much the entire family cried over it. The movie is well done but I highly recommend that one watches a comedy following seeing Journey of Hope. --R3hall (talk) 22:35, 4 May 2008 (UTC)R3hall[reply]

The Village they was from is called: Pazarcik

[edit]

At the first scene we see a traditionel alevi-ceremony, even with the holy "Elif ANA" from the Pulyan village. I am also from Pazarcik. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.76.158.171 (talk) 23:04, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Journey of Hope (film)Journey of HopeJourney of Hope used to be an article about a charity event but has since been redirected to Pi Kappa Phi where it currently isn't even mentioned by name. A mention should probably be added but even then I don't think it's a primary topic over a film with its own article. Instead, the film should be the primary topic with a hatnote for the charity event. Lennart97 (talk) 19:53, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
