KNME Call Letter Meaning
[edit]I have a feeling "NME" stands for New Mexico Education, but that's just a theory. Any confirmation? -Oddtoddnm 05:51, July 25, 2005 (UTC)
- Heard better today. It's Keeping New Mexico Educated. --Oddtoddnm 04:56, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
KNME is NOW "NEW MEXICO PBS" as of March 2012
[edit]I'm trying to redirect KNME to New Mexico PBS--it's new name. There is also incorrect links and names in this article but keep getting blocked from editing the correct info. User: Nmpbsjmraz 26 March 2012 —Preceding undated comment added 21:11, 26 March 2012 (UTC).
- They may be branding themselves "New Mexico PBS", but the station's actual name and callsign still appears to be KNME-TV. As this is NOT incorrect, your attempts to redirect to a new article have been reverted. MikeWazowski (talk) 21:21, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- MikeWazowski is correct. TV station articles are listed under their call letters; branding articles should be redirects to the call letters. -- Gridlock Joe (talk) 22:57, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
