Would anyone know the title of the old Hindi song which plays on the radio?

Afghan Language`

[edit]

Isn't the Afghan language in this movie Dari? It sounds like Dari, and it is Dari according to the IMDB profile. Why is it labelled Pashto in this article? deeptrivia (talk) 15:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dari is the most prevalent language in Afghanistan, one of the official langauges, and the country's effective lingua franca. The other two official languages are Pashto, and Uzbeki (in Uzbek populated regions.)

Please read the question. deeptrivia (talk) 01:51, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is She Really Muslim?

[edit]
They stop in a small cafe selling Kebabs where they meet American Muslim Journalist Jessica Beckham(Linda Arsenio)
who is working for Reuters in reporting on the US side of the War in Afghanistan.

Really? I've watched the movie several times, I never had the sense she was muslim. She's just a journalist. She even questions what she's doing there at one point, saying 'I'm just here so people will buy my book' (implying that that's a pretty poor reason).
