Locations in Kalo Nero

[edit]

The article (at the moment) lists locations in Kalo Nero as Kamaria, Ai Seris and Ano Kalo Neron. Statistics seem to divide Kalo Nero local district into Kalo Neron, Ano Kalo Neron, Vounaki (with just a sole inhabitant!), Kakkavas, Marmaro and Stasi Sidirokastro. Maybe some local could enlighten us how these two lists map to each other! :) Sivullinen (talk) 20:15, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To avoid problem with sources, I have now changed the locations in Kalo Nero to the 'settlements' given in the cencus data. (If someone can tell to which 'settlement' Ai Seris belongs to, I'm curious to learn! :)) --Sivullinen (talk) 21:23, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You raise some good points with your latest edits. Unfortunately no answers here. I love how this article has developed as it started out as an advertorial for a resort ;)FelisLeoTalk! 18:22, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neda River waterfalls - the entrance to Hades?

[edit]

I would like to see some reference for the claim of the Neda River waterfalls as the entrance to Hades. I haven't found one! I guess we have here what is called a "Local cult" in the article Greek_underworld: "Many local cults in Greece claimed to possess entrances to the underworld, and had special religious rites associated with these. Ancient travel writers and geographers such as Pausanias and Strabo describe these". However, without any reference it's impossible to put anything in the article and fix the unsourced claim of Neda River waterfalls as "the entrance to Hades"! --Sivullinen (talk) 14:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree and have removed the claim (16 years later!).-- Ponyobons mots 18:53, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
