About the title

[edit]

KG Lagerfelt's title att that time, was Minister at the Swedish Legation in Tokyo. The title Minister, in this context, denotes the head of mission who is not a full Ambassador Plenipotentiary. Later the legation was upgraded to an embassy, and the emissary was titled Ambassador. It is possible however that he discharged certain consular functions as head of mission. The above facts are most readily checked in 'Statskalendern', the Swedish government's equivalent of "Whos's Who". --Johan Lagerfelt, son of Karl-Gustav. Name

[edit]

Is it really very wise to include his initials, or his title, in the article's title? Especially when the initials are on both sides of the first name, this seems like an unusual practice. Couldn't he be just "Karl-Gustav Lagerfelt"?
