I removed the edit including Brian Watkins in the list of notable residents of Kenton. While Watkins' accomplishments in the field of agriculture are verifiable (see [1]), I don't find evidence that he's been interviewed more than twice in his lifetime. Quite literally, he has not yet had his 15 minutes of fame. Perhaps Watkins' contribution(s) could be reworded and inserted into another part of the article? We might benefit, too, from knowing what noteworthy things he has done. -- SwissCelt 20:18, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The non-leadership of a town going nowhere

[edit]

Just wondering if other people in other towns in northwest Ohio are as frustrated with their city government, specifically the lack of leadership by the mayor and/or the city council? Kenton has a history of doing nothing to solve any problems, electing rather to wait out whoever is looking for some answers or solutions. Whether you approach the mayor or city council about traffic, speeding, litter, drugs, etc, the answer is always the same. We don't have that problem. I've talked with several concerned citizens who have lived here for over 20 years and they say it doesn't matter who leaves the office and who comes into the office, nothing is ever done. Just wondered if others have the same problem or is this a local area phenomenon? ____ Kentonite —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kentonite (talkcontribs) 23:10, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kenton Amish affiliation

[edit]

Everything written about the Kenton Amish affiliation was sourced meticulously. If you read the given sources there cannot be any doubt, that it is about the Amish community in Kenton, Ohio that became an own affiliation of the Amish. People from the region may also know this if they live near the Amish. Maybe there could be a better place of the newly written paragraph in article, but just removing it without real reason, in my view, is a clear case of VANDALISM! 2A02:8071:B86:8060:BC19:3C5D:8FD8:1B14 (talk) 04:17, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
