References etc[edit]

I would really like to see a lot more in text citations as such for this article. I realize that the impetus for the creation is fairly recent but I feel that this could be a pretty awesome article. Do we have any references aside from the popular media?--Woland (talk) 04:53, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article appears to be a close copy of the CNN article posted at http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/science/08/14/green.sahara.ap/index.html taken from an AP press release. Since the article is taken word for word from that article or the AP release, there should be a site for it. jacksste (at) cwu.edu. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.243.32.81 (talk) 08:53, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've rewritten this article to use proper sources and everything. The plagiarized version was unacceptable. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 16:10, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Neolithic Subpluvial site says it lasted from about 7,500-7,000 BC to about 3,500-3,000 BC, yet this site places it between 10,000 BC and 8000 BC. Were there two subpluvials there or is this a mistake?--M.paprocki (talk) 15:55, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
