References

[edit]

The article is in need of more references to back-up much of the content (there are a few WP editors who have fits over lack of references, so, it's a good idea to start adding references before they come across the article). It seems external links are being used as citations, but references should always be marked with <ref> tags (thus, people will link-out from the references section), not just link out from within the body of the text. Also, the link in the body for "Romanov Family" should link to the Wikipedia article "House of Romanov", not to an external website. You could tag it as [[House of Romanov|Romanov Family]] which will appear in the body as Romanov Family. Or, if you want Nicholas II specifically and not the entire Romanov family (as the current external link does), you can use [[Nicholas II of Russia|Romanov Family]] with the same visual effect.

Hagiography vs. encyclopedia

[edit]

With all due respect, this reads more like a work of hagiography than an encyclopedia article. Wikipedia loses credibility when groups use it to further their particular agendas. Please rework this so it gains some objectivity and intellectual distance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.234.14.169 (talk) 17:28, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
