"a" birthplace of Maharana Pratap?

[edit]

Presumably this should be "the birthplace". According to the text, he's only a king, not a divinity. Anyone know or sure? —Preceding unsigned comment added by AdeMiami (talkcontribs) 13:08, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I noticed that both Kumbhalgarh and Kumbalgarh are about the same place. I think they should be merged to prevent any confusion. --Belasd (talk) 00:44, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. These two should be merged and the redundant information whetted down. User:Mohan Phadnis —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.152.14.67 (talk) 10:24, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. AshLin (talk) 02:50, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinate error

[edit]

The coordinates need the following fixes:

  • Write here

Latitude 25° 8'55.00"N Longitude 73°34'50.00"E 203.92.35.50 (talk) 09:26, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I came up with: N25 08 51, E73 34 59. Fixed. Mephistophelian (talk) 20:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Second largest wall?

[edit]

As far as I know the Great Wall of the Sahara is about 2500 km long, how could this 39 km wall rank second to the Great Wall of China? --Hhgygy (talk) 16:16, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the claim. The Saharan "wall" is a berm, not a solid structure. However, there are certainly other solid walls that are longer - such as the Anastasian Wall in Turkey and Hadrian's Wall in the United Kingdom. Coinmanj (talk) 03:10, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This has been corrected as one the longest walls of the world. Shall this dubious-discuss template be removed?Sajaypal007 (talk) 21:50, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Its been more than a month. I am removing the template, if anyone have some objection, please feel free to discuss.Sajaypal007 (talk) 17:02, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Who build the fort and when?

[edit]

In the introduction, the article status " Built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha " with not citation to back the claim up. In the History section, it says "The original fort is believed to have been built by King Samprati of the Maurya Age on account of strategic importance during the 6th century."

Which is it? If anyone could shed some light on this matter, it would be very helpful, thanks! --ShellPandey (talk) 15:16, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NVM, it's further clarified within the article. MB --ShellPandey (talk) 15:21, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
