I have reverted an absurd claim that the image of a degenerate art exhibition held in 1938 in Nazi Germany is still under copyright! If you protest please provide evidence that this image is still copyrighted and who owns the copyright.217.43.172.80 (talk) 19:55, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Kunstschutz" is not an euphemism of theft, but the German term for art protection from the threat of war according to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. That the German art protection efforts finally ended in the Nazi plunder does not make "Kunstschutz" a synonym for art theft. --87.165.121.14 (talk) 22:19, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
