Title[edit]

Following WP:WikiProject Opera/Article guidelines#Operas: capitalization and diacritics, shouldn't this article be titled La chanson de Fortunio (with a lower case "c")? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 13:43, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see that is how it is written in the list in the Grove reference (no 1). Cg2p0B0u8m (talk) 22:25, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In Grove Online's "Offenbach, Jacques" by Andrew Lamb, I see in chapter "2. Works", paragraph 6, La chanson de Fortunio. Same in "Works". (links require subscription). -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 09:05, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you are able to do all the page moving I am happy to create a rough and ready page for Le Chandelier; I've also found a few extra bits for the opera page. However I believe it is stretching to call it an opera based on a play: which play? The plot is a sort of sequel, even if some characters are the same.
