Batesian mimicry=superficial resemblance?

The plant is obviously similar in form to stinging nettle (square stem, serated leaves with roundish form and pointed end) and of comparable though lesser hieght and similar distibution. The common name says it all, nothing more to discuss, it simply looks a bit like a stinging nettle. The question is not whether they appear similar to humans, but whether natural selection has been involved, which would be required if the link to Batesian mimicry is to be justified. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 13:12, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
