The stuff about bath houses is wrong. Please see this for circumstantial confirmation. I've reverted so far back b/c it seems that's the last version completely untouched by malicious vandalism. Hydriotaphia 04:00, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Additions/Changes to Notable People

[edit]

Hello! Under the section "Notable People" it should say

  • Clayton Danks - one of the cowboys attributed as the model for the Bucking Horse and Rider logo as he was the first to ride the bucking horse, Steamboat, at the Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1909.

Add Stub Farlow to "Notable People".

  • Albert Jerome "Stub" Farlow was a well-known cowboy from Lander and was one of the models to inspire the Bucking Horse and Rider logo.

History

[edit]

The citation does not support the claim that "Lander was known as "Pushroot", [or] "Old Camp Brown". CanucksGirl (talk) 23:53, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Updated citation with new source.

Geology

[edit]

How about the Education section mentioning Camp Branson, the University of Missouri geology field station? https://fieldcamp.missouri.edu/ --TDKehoe (talk) 00:16, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
