Translation of LPQ

[edit]

Changed the translation of "le pain quotidien" from "Bread of the day" to "Daily Bread" as the latter is better English. Dmccormac (talk) 20:53, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is this page an Advert?!

[edit]

It seems as though this page was written by marketers at Le Pain Quotidian. Jams available for purchase? What?! A biased wiki, for sure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.173.54.67 (talk) 21:23, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed Blatant Advertising

[edit]

As previous users noted the page was written in the style of marketing material. I removed all NPOV-offending segments, and just left in facts. This did reduce the article size quite a bit, but I'm hoping someone else can pick up from here and add more details. One interesting fact to mention would be the "community table" feature of these restaurants. I'm sure you improved it, but it still reads like advertising. Earldelawarr (talk) 20:15, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is clearly written with a one sided view, no basis of encyclopaedic research. Further the media reference is really out of order for Wikipedia to allow, especially given a company in existence for over 20 years. That is the summum of the media - rather feeble. better remove the entire entrry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.105.253.10 (talk) 18:51, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Russias war on Ukraine

[edit]

It seems, lpq withdrew from Russia: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/monument-zu-sergey-prokofiev-moskau-86822040.jpg https://taz.de/picture/5956367/948/Russland-Sanktionen-1.jpeg As a matter of fact, the now russian name uses an old letter, which was abolished by the Great Socialistic October Revolution.
