I was going to include this comment but I think it's kinda off-base: According to Andrew Rogers:[1]

Not sure how useful this article is, since he seems to be confused about the difference between Objectivism and libertarianism, but here it is. Tisane talk/stalk 05:37, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Libertarian pledge. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Has the wording of the pledge changed?

[edit]

The current pledge found on the Libertarian Party website is different than the one contained in this article. The LP website says, "To validate my membership, I certify that I oppose the initiation of force to achieve political or social goals."[1]

Here's a direct comparison between Wikipedia's claimed version of the pledge (top) and the actual pledge on the LP website (bottom):

"I hereby certify that I do not believe in or advocate the initiation of force as a means of achieving political or social goals."

"To validate my membership, I certify that I oppose the initiation of force to achieve political or social goals."
