Japanese born

There reads: English was the first Japanese-born Playmate
However, according to Okinawa: After the end of World War II in 1945, Okinawa was under United States administration for 27 years. So Okinawa was under American control in 1947. It is Japan now, though. 85.217.23.70 (talk) 10:16, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

After the war it was still Japan. It just had Americans in administrative positions. It was never part of the US and never not Japan. In a similar way to Iraq never being part of the US (or any other NATO country) after the recent war. Dismas|^(talk) 12:11, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
