Fair use rationale for Image:PixarLiftedPoster.jpg

[edit]

Image:PixarLiftedPoster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:57, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Farmer

[edit]

Doesn't the farmer look a lot like Tony, the guy Violet has a crush on in The Incredibles?- JustPhil 02:33, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I heard somewhere that the farmer is actually Linguini from Ratatoiulle, because since they dont use that big a budget for shorts, they didnt want to bother making a new model just for the farmer, and decided to use Linguini's model as a substitute. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.193.123 (talk) 03:25, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's funny cuz', since it's supposed to be Linguini, the crashing UFO might be te cause of his moms death and the cause of Linguini having to move to his "father's" hometown Paris. So those aliens caused some of the events in Ratatouille. 85.228.165.63 (talk) 19:23, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Production or Trivia?

[edit]

Everything under the production section seems to me like trivia rather than production information, so I'm changing the title to trivia, and also I'm adding the exact number of switches on the abduction console. Just in case anyone questions how I got that number, there are shots that show the exact number of switches vertically (20) on the console, and then there is a shot showing the exact number of switches horizontally on the console (100) so 20 X 100 = 2,000. The exact number of switches on the console - Pokefan2006

I will change it back so it is not deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Not G. Ivingname (talkcontribs) 04:07, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not Linguini

[edit]

It says here in the article "He must snatch a sleeping farmer named Ernie (who is actually Linguini, the main human protagnist from one of Pixar's other films, Ratatouille)". How is it Linguini if it's says his name is Ernie? Also, there are some differences with the models, like how Ernie's hair is black. And the theatrical shorts that play before the movie NEVER have anything to do with the feature itself, so this has no connection with Ratatouille. 76.175.116.65 (talk) 17:28, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
