This article should be titled Lincoln, Maine. The addition of "Penobscot County" to the title was to prevent confusion with Lincoln Plantation, Maine, population 46. I believe the potential for confusion is vanishingly small. "Lincoln, Maine" is simpler and fits the standard U.S. format for town names. --Ken Gallager (talk) 14:22, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
