Boston campaign

[edit]

The Boston campaign is dated in the text to take place 75-76, but in the campaignbox it is stated to 74-76. Based on this discussion, the right date should be 74 - 76 —Jabamula 14:51, 7 October 2006 (UTC) ngewhjierwuyt4ut8prwp8r — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.235.52.100 (talk) 16:45, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Carrickfergus Castle

[edit]

I would just like to add that one of the first battles that took place in the American War of Independence was in Belfast Lough, Northern Ireland, just beside Carrickfergus Castle. I would be very pleased to see this added to the article. Thanks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.185.240.122 (talk) 10:49, 26 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

This battle was in April 1781 near Petersburg, VA - does anyone know why this spelling is used rather than Blandford, which appears to be the more common name for the town east of Petersburg where it occurred? Did the spelling change over time?--Parkwells (talk) 20:29, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1782

[edit]

weren't there some battles in Kentucky and Ohio during 1782? Why weren't they listed?Ericl (talk) 15:52, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Locks

[edit]

The page is completely unprotected and prone to being vandalised beyond recognition, shouldn't we lock it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gregnes2000 (talkcontribs) 18:40, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reason why this battle is missing from the list? See also this CNN article today. effeietsanders 06:27, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
