past-tense descriptions on events that are yet to happen

[edit]

im quite confused on why the main description and the description on the picture speak in past tense when it isn't even September yet, im sure this violates Wikipedia guidelines somehow, the reason i am speaking up here without correcting the mistakes is because I am having trouble trying to figure out a proper way to reword those small parts (specifically the use of the words ran and released) to remove the sense of time while maintaining the dates stated 66.189.173.57 (talk) 12:57, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Documenting future events by using past tense narrative doesn't violate the semantics associated with the English language and hence by extension, Wikipedia. >> KirtZMessage 22:40, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
