2007 Magyar Nagydíj

[edit]

Should it be noted that McLaren-Mercedes scored no points (nor received the Constructor's Trophy) in 2007 Hungarian Grand Prix? I think the win should be kept in their overall record, but someone could add a note for this anomaly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.197.96.227 (talk) 09:01, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

British season wins

[edit]

I don't understand this sentence: "Since the first win for a British constructor in 1957, British constructors won races in every season until 2013, except 2006"... why not just say "Since the first win for a British constructor in 1957, British constructors won races in every season until 2006"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.65.250.193 (talk) 01:46, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Presumably some consider "every season from 1957 to 2013 (except 2006)" to be more impressive/informative than "every season from 1957 to 2005". DH85868993 (talk) 08:08, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's an WP:UNSOURCED, dubious statement. It should either be cited, or removed. SSSB (talk) 08:10, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sauber inconsistencies

[edit]

Sauber is only mentioned as racing under "BMW Sauber," while Alfa Romeo's 2019-2023 stint is considered it's own thing, even though the team was offically "Alfa Romeo Sauber." Just wanted to know if these should be either condesed into one "Sauber Motorsports", as is the case with the offical Formula 1 website, or have all 3 iterations be their own spots on the table (ex .BMW Sauber, Sauber Motorsports, Alfa Romeo Sauber) Jellyloab (talk) 01:32, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
