Cassie Lockheart or Cathy Lockheart?

[edit]

This is just a comment on what I saw recently. I watched from Episode 8 "Godspeed of the East" to the final episode. It's been confirmed that it's Cathy that everyone who voice there roles calls her. I'm going to leave it up to editors whether they want to keep "Cassie" or change it to "Cathy". Watch the episodes again and have a think about it. That's all. Funimation dub says Cathy Lockharte in both their subs and dub captions. Closing credits show Cathy. Although the "English" summary write up at the beginning of that episode shows Cassie Lockheart, the stills for the commercial break shows Cathy Lockharte. Suggest Cassie be an alternate spelling but the bulk of the articles (main, episodes, characters) should use Cathy. -AngusWOOF (talk) 00:27, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Trim out minor characters

[edit]

This list needs to be swept for minor characters such as the girls' limiters, of which they have very little to no description and can be incorporated into the entry for the main girls. Also one-off guest characters mentioned in passing with no description should be removed. If the character has a profile at the front of the manga volume, they can stay. -AngusWOOF (talk) 19:04, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've merged the entries for the Limiters, besides Arthur and Kazuya since they are regular characters, to their respective Pandoras. Most of the Pandoras have either a manga profile write-up or an episode eyecatch profile during their commercial break, so they can stay. Ones mentioned in passing should not count. -AngusWOOF (talk) 00:30, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Standardize to Funimation anime dub

[edit]

As this series has been English-licensed by Funimation for its anime, they get dibs on the spelling and naming of the characters, nicknames, and abilities. Although Seven Seas has licensed the manga, they have yet to publish the volumes, so the names can be revisited later. Within the anime, the girls' names have been shown in English for the opening summaries, eyecatches/commercial break profiles, and closing credits, however, those are assumed to be attempted romanized spellings as they contain many random typos and inconsistencies. -AngusWOOF (talk) 00:48, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Funimation aliases

[edit]

I unlinked the aliases of some of the Funimation voice actresses per WP:BLPPRIVACY. Until the person or a RS reviewer has formally connected the alias to the actor, it should not be outed. Do not assume their aliases just because you can recognize their voices. They need to acknowledge in an interview or blog post that it's okay for them to be associated with this anime. -AngusWOOF (talk) 16:59, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added some of the aliases back as confirmed by Michael Meade and other RS reviewers who are making the connections. -AngusWOOF (talk) 00:27, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

use of = in nihongo names

[edit]

As many of the characters have Western formatted names, the characters' names in Japanese are listed as "firstname = lastname" , for instance, "シフォン=フェアチャイルド" is "Shifon = Feachairudo" So the = isn't really part of the name but to distinguish the Western format. -AngusWOOF (talk) 00:35, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
