Comment

This should realy be updated and the Diesel models added in more detail, just the model numbers like E320 CDI would be a good start, (i don't have enough info to do it myself, sorry!).

If anyone can plz edit!!!

KDI EVT (camless)?

[edit]

Any information on the KDI EVT camless (solenoid valve) system that was supposed to be introduced with the 2008 C-class? It seems to have just magically vanished.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.248.66.199 (talk) 11:32, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline addition

[edit]

If anyone has time / ability, I think it would be nice to have a timeline within each type of engine. I have found myself really struggling to understand the evolution of V8 engines.

I made a drawing to sort things out for myself - would be interesting to include a timeline or drawing here perhaps? Google Docs Drawing of Mercedes V8 Evolution — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.90.249.158 (talk) 15:33, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
