Flags[edit]

WP:MOSFLAG states: "Flag icons may be relevant in some subject areas, where the subject actually represents that country, government, or nationality – such as military units, government officials, or national sports teams. In lists or tables, flag icons may be relevant when the nationality of different subjects is pertinent to the purpose of the list or table itself. Words as the primary means of communication should be given greater precedence over flags and flags should not change the expected style or layout of infoboxes or lists to the detriment of words."

I don't think the nationality of the players or the clubs is pertinent to the purpose of this list. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 12:51, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am a regular volunteer at the Third Opinion project. The request for a 3O made here has been removed because 3O, like all other forms of mediated content dispute resolution at Wikipedia, requires thorough talk page discussion before requesting assistance. If resolution cannot be achieved through extensive discussion, you may then request a third opinion or opt for some other form of dispute resolution.
