Ep 25

[edit]

"(this is most likely a reference to humanity's invention of the nuclear fission bombs which crash pieces of sub critical uranium in the gun-barrel type bomb and pieces of sub critical plutonium for the implosion type version to trigger immensely powerful explosions measured in thousands of tons of TNT)"

Episode 25 "The Zone of Absolute Fortune"

This section of the text seems a bit pointless and not really much to do with the episode. I think that it should probably be put on the vision of escaflowne main page in the trivia and allusions section. I just wanted to know if anyone else thought the same. If so i shall move it then. ^_^

(reply) I agree. I originally wrote all the episode summaries and someone came in afterwards and put this in. Either moving it to trivia or deleting it entirely is fine with me. Quiddity99 23:19, 20 February 2007 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

Sorry i dissagree on this, at the moment i am writing up full pages on it with the first one done, and if anyone can help please do. mickyfitz13 Talk 21:30, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Um, no, individual episodes are not notable for individual articles and such articles should not be created. Your edits have been undone. Please read the WP:EPISODE and WP:FICT guidelines. Trivia and personal opinions on the allusions of the series are also highly inappropriate. AnmaFinotera (talk) 23:13, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Music and the Edited Version

[edit]

Saying that Kanno's music was completely replaced in the Fox version was inaccurate. Yes, most of the music was changes, but certain songs such as Dance of Curse and Cradle Song were used, albeit in the wrong places. Dance of Curse for example, which was only used maybe 2 or 3 times in the uncut series was used in nearly every episode of the Fox version.

As for Mystic Eyes, it was not used in the final episode, 'The Story of Escaflowne' was instead. Need a source? Watch the final episode! :) Quiddity99 (talk) 14:41, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

I have also switched the number of FOX aired episodes from 10 to 9, as 10 is also an inaccurate number. Only 9 episodes were aired:

Episode 1: The Girl from the Mystic Moon - features entire original ep Episode 2: A Splendid Swordsman - features entire original ep Episode 3: The Diabolical Adonis - features entire original ep Episode 4: The Seal of the Brothers - features entire original ep Episode 5: City of Intrigue - features entire original ep (heavily cut) plus first half of original Unexpected Partings Episode 6: Unexpected Partings - features 2nd half of original Unexpected Partings and 1st half of original Day the Angel Flew Episode 7: The Day the Angel Flew - features 2nd half of original Day the Angel flew and 1st half of original Memory of a Wing. Episode 8: The Blue Eyed Prince - features 2nd half of original Memory of a Wing and 1st half of original Blue Eyed Prince Episode 9: Prophecy of Death - features 2nd half of original Blue Eyed Prince and 1st half or original Prophecy of Death

Anime Encyclopedia's references to Kanno's music being 'torn out' and there being 10 FOX episodes is WRONG. This book has a huge number of errors for numerous anime and is not always a reliable source. Quiddity99 (talk) 14:41, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

I have undone your edits again. Find another reliable source (or two) to conflicted with the TWO sources that say otherwise. You don't get to decide you don't like the source and that your memory is a more reliable source than a printed book by acknowledged experts. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 15:33, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
