[edit]

Great refs! Thanks! --Tenebrae 15:53, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, great refs, and thank you for all your additional work. It is always so good to collaborate like this with someone who is knowledgeable and, may I say, a good writer. I've worked with fellow EC aficionado User:Pepso on Wally Wood, and it's such a pleasure to build on each other's work. Editors like you and he really help make this unpaid and anonymous avocation worthwhile. Thanks!--Tenebrae 04:24, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very nice edits!

[edit]

Please accept my compliments for your excellent and well-researched additions and judicious excisions at Warren Publishing. I hope we get to see more of your work at WikiProject Comics. --Tenebrae (talk) 18:34, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot! Likewise I greatly appreciate your work on the Blazing Combat article, which I was going to soon create myself, but you beat me to the punch and did it in a way better than I probably could have :) Quiddity99 (talk) 19:21, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

You've been here long enough to not get a template warning. You've done the WP:BRD. Your bold edits were reverted. Stop the edit warring. You started a discussion on the talk page, respond there and do not keep changing back to your preferred version. I've attempted to middle ground some stuff, but your continued redoing of your unsourced edits are not aiding anything. Again, you don't get to declare a book non-WP:RS that the entire project has agreed is an RS. You certainly don't get to discount TWO of them. As for the ending theme, you keep saying "watch the series." When was the last time you watched it? Which version did you watch? Again, you were bold, it was reverted, please move to the discuss phase and stop the reverting as per BRD. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 16:15, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your statements are incorrect and will continue to be reverted by me until they remain in the correct form. I've watched this show dozens of times and ran the biggest Escaflowne fansite on the web, EscaflowneOnline.com for years. My statements are accurate. I own the official DVDs and have taped copies of the FOX episodes from their original airings. Again, your sources are incorrect. Quiddity99 (talk) 16:19, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Your running a fansite is completely and totally irrelevant. Your statements are your own opinions. I have the official DVDs as well. Your memory does not supplant multiple reliable sources. Not a single website mentions a second ending theme for the series, and I don't have time at the moment to find my copy of the DVD to check it, though I do not remember it having a different theme either. ANN also does not mention any third theme, nor do any of the other anime music websites. I suggest you read WP:RS, and while you are at it WP:3RR. If you follow through with your threat to continue reverting without discussion, you will likely get yourself blocked for edit warring. Now stop it. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 16:22, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Collectonian, but you're incorrect. Don't act on your memory, watch the final episode again like I have. Read my comments on your own page for more details. Quiddity99 (talk) 17:08, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

EC II

[edit]

Good work. :o) ntnon (talk) 19:27, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have the means (and/or time) to do Issue guides for Panic and Two-Fisted Tales..? I noticed those were missing yesterday. I'm trying to dig out enough sources (with some success) to put together Russ Cochran. Hopefully I'll get to that before too long. :o) ntnon (talk) 19:31, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I do plan to cover them at some point. My goal at this point is a mass improvement of all EC titles and the main EC articles themselves (and eventually down the line the EC artists, writers and editors), including adding cover shots/info boxes, references, influences, issue guides (where there aren't already ones) and more discussion of the actual contents of them too. :P I may not get to them right away, but certainly improving those articles, which includes adding issue guides is on my radar. Quiddity99 (talk) 19:50, 1 September 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Excellent. ntnon (talk) 21:10, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Escaost1.gif

[edit]

I have tagged Image:Escaost1.gif as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. Otherwise, it will be deleted in seven days. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 05:13, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This can be deleted. I uploaded it back when the soundtracks had their own pages; now that they've all been deleted there is no point in this image being around any longer. Quiddity99 (talk) 01:17, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Cool, if you want feel free to go ahead and tag then as author deletion. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 01:59, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GE999

[edit]

It's good to see someone adding episode summaries for this show! Is it possible for you to create them in a text editor first and then add them later? I ask because I've started inserting the code to show kanji titles so I can speed up the process of actually adding the titles. I'm worried about the possibility of causing conflicts on each others edits, and although I'm adding less to the page, the edits are more complex as I'm copying data across the whole page at once. Either that or I can leave my edits until later Dandy Sephy (talk) 17:24, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it okay if you hold off for say an hour or so? I won't be adding summaries for every episode just yet (as I'm still going through some), so I shouldn't be working on them for too long. I should hopefully be done (for now) within an hour or so. Quiddity99 (talk) 17:26, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
yeah, thats fine. We are both improving the article, it doesn't matter who does their edits first. Let me know here when you are done. Dandy Sephy (talk) 17:27, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know Crunchryoll is now streaming a licensed subbed version provided by Toei. They are adding 2 eps a week. Dandy Sephy (talk) 11:34, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The X-Files - "Triangle"

[edit]

I just went over the history of the page, "Deep Throat" (episode) and saw you adding the source The Truth is Out There: The Official Guide to the X-Files, do you have any information about the viewership number and nielsen rating for the episode "Triangle"? --TIAYN (talk) 14:00, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help Quiddity99 and i hope you'll your intrests in The X-Files episode will rekindle. --TIAYN (talk) 14:40, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just a heads up, when two different episodes (Part 1 and 2) have the same name, you usually don't make a seperate article for part 2 as you did with "Redux" (Part 2), so i've merged the article and all your work to "Redux". This is not my personnel opinion, this is how many of the articles look here on wikipedia. And great work on The X-Files early and mid episodes --TIAYN (talk) 07:49, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can you show me some examples? Thanks. Quiddity99 (talk) 10:24, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Pilot (Lost), Exodus (Lost), Children of the Gods, Redemption (Stargate SG-1), Rising (Stargate Atlantis), Home (Battlestar Galactica), The Truth (The X-Files) and The Eclipse (Heroes) among others, while this is not a must, "Redux II" didn't have enough real-world information to warrant its own articles, since its information could easily be moved to the season five articles, just as i've previously done to the season eight article. All that i'm saying, its easier, better and its a bigger chance to promote it to GA status if anyone would want to try.. --TIAYN (talk) 15:22, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! :P Quiddity99 (talk) 21:51, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
No problem. I've been working on The X-Files characters recently (List, Walter Skinner and Fox Mulder) and i can't find any information about how they created Fox Mulder, do you have any information in those books of yours? --TIAYN (talk) 00:06, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean the characterization of him? Such as how Scully was at least somewhat inspired by Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs and was created to be a counter to Mulder's beliefs in the paranormal? Alas, while I have many X-Files books there isn't much I can find on how they created the character. Where his name comes from (Chris Carter's mother's maiden name) has been mentioned often, aside from that? Not much. :( There is a nice one page write up on the character in 'The Complete X-Files' by Matt Hurwitz & Chris Knowles although it doesn't really talk about how the character was created. Quiddity99 (talk) 02:36, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Well okay, thanks for your help. Just a note, the two articles you've created Conduit (The X-Files) and The Jersey Devil (The X-Files) have no real world information with the exception of their nielsen ratings which can be easily moved to the main season article. Since you re-created those articles, i'm gessing that there are not much production on them? But short either add more real-world information (production, themes, reception etc.) --TIAYN (talk) 10:23, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think I just never got around to adding that info for those two episodes. I'll try to get some stuff up this weekend for them. Quiddity99 (talk) 15:02, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Again, great job! on The Jersey Devil and Conduit :D. "Duane Barry" has one very short sentence in the production, which is not good. The information in the reception section can easily be moved to the main season article... So if you don't want me to merge the article, add more information in the production section or i will be forced to merge it, okay?
Probably gonna be the same as the other two episodes; stuff is out there, just never got a chance to add it. Will do when I get a chance. Quiddity99 (talk) 19:23, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

Can you do me one last favour? Vote keep here, if you don't want to i do understand. --TIAYN (talk) 17:47, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I agree with the others, I don't think a template for this is necessary given the fact that one already exists for TV series. Doesn't mean we can't use the code for it on the episode pages, that;s fine with me, but I don't think there's really a need for an additional template just for the X-Files. Some of the fields you added, like Executive Producer/Producer/Script Editor would best go on the series page or season pages. Budget information is unlikely to be available; even with all the X-Files books I have I don't have anything discussing that. Quiddity99 (talk) 22:17, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

I was under the impression that your entire template was being deleted and that it was being reverted back to how it was before you made it (at least thats what was done to some of the other pages), which is why I reverted back to how I was doing it before. I'm more than happy to continue to use the template you posted above (I think it looks a lot better than having the Guest in a seperate section) I just hope some third party isn't gonna go and delete it all since your template's being deleted. :P Quiddity99 (talk) 16:59, 25 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
No thats the normal template, my one is broken :C. but see these:   put them between the different letters such as William B. Davis. You can see it above... By the way, i'm going to merge the "Nisei (The X-Files)" article, it has nearly no real-world information, and the real world information in the article could easily be mentioned in the main season article. So if you want to work with it before i merge it tomorrow. Please do.

See Tunguska (The X-Files) and 731 (The X-Files)... One other thing you seem to have a skill of writing plot summaries (which i don't!) and wondered if you could help me with expanding the plot summary on the "Within" episode article and add any information to the production and reception section if you could. Can you help me with this? --TIAYN (talk) 17:20, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Give me a day or two and I should be able to improve Nisei enough such that it would deserve keeping its own article. Looking at the history for that page I realize that aside from adding the cast list I never actually had any contributions for that page, which is why it is lacking the detailed production & reception sections on the other pages I have worked on. I think you'll find the same thing with Herrenvolk as well. I'll try to prioritize those as the next two pages I work on.
Regarding Within, unfortunately I can't contribute anything to that page right now. I've been going through the entire series this year and I'm still in early season 7 so I haven't hit that episode yet (in fact I don't think I've watched that episode since its original air date). Also, aside from 'The Complete X-Files', which covers all 9 seasons and both movies, I don't have any book that covers season 8, so I won't have the detailed level of information that I have for seasons 1-6 right now. Although the DVD for that season may have special features that may help. I'll put it on my list to keep in mind at a later date. Quiddity99 (talk) 17:32, 25 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
That's okay, i'm starting to expand the episode articles which had to little production info. started on "Deep Throat" and i can help you adding any production info. if you have a hard time finding it with your books since i got a whole bunch of the audio commentaries not available on the different season releases. --TIAYN (talk) 22:59, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! The more info we have up there the better says I. Truly appreciate having a fellow editor assisting me with these articles. Quiddity99 (talk) 23:17, 25 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Since as i said above, i'm terrible at writing plot summaries, can you shorten down the summary at "Eve (The X-Files)". Why? because a plot summary should only give a short description of the episode and should only be big if their is equal amount of out-universe as in-universe information in an article. --TIAYN (talk) 08:07, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just re-created the page, "Max (The X-Files)" with adding some production info. I'm wondering if you could help me write a plot summary for the article? --TIAYN (talk) 08:57, 29 July 2009 (UTC
Not a problem! :) I want to get one done for Tempus Fugit first though, so we'll have both parts up there. Hopefully within the next day or two should be able to pump out both episodes. Quiddity99 (talk) 00:19, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Thanks for your help on the article, "Max".
Hey, the second source in the article "4-D" is that a book? --TIAYN (talk) 11:56, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, just a question. Would you think it would be a wise idea to create a wikiproject for The X-Files franchise? Or is this just dreamy from my part? --TIAYN (talk) 13:22, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Would this count? Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/The X-Files task force Regarding 4D, I haven't made any edits to that page and am not sure about what "The X-Files Collectors Edition" is. I think the official companion books stopped after season 7, so it wouldn't be that, and I don't have any book by that name. Sorry, can't help with that one. Check the history to see who originally used that reference. Quiddity99 (talk) 18:51, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Well okay, i'll find out about what that source, the wiki user doesn't seem to be active anymore. On another note, do you want to join the The X-Files wikiproject? I've just created it, take a look for yourself. Note from now, when you create articles for you X-Files episodes, can you remember to place this template
{{xfilesproject}}
on the respective talk page? --TIAYN (talk) 20:15, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just joined! :P The project page mentions plot synopsises need shortening. Any episode page(s) in particular? I can focus my attention on those depending on the season. Quiddity99 (talk) 21:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Thats an error from my part, i'll remove it later. There are only two that needs shorting, those are the "Pilot" and "Eve". The rest are in good shape because of you being the sole creater of nearly all the episode pages related to The X-Files. But can you do me favour, i need a plot summary for all the mytharc/mythology episodes, because i'm creating the article Mythology of The X-Files which is inspired from the two Mythology of Lost and Carnivàle articles. I know this is a big assignment, but it is of major importance to the article. When you are finished, can you send it to my talk page, so that i can put the information to my sandbox. Or we can do it the easy way, so instead of taking it to my user page, take it here in the mytharc section. Thanks for joining the project! --TIAYN (talk) 22:04, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For the most part my priority has been on the mythology episodes, although I've been taking a break for a little bit to fill in some of the stand alones. When the mythology episodes are done, at whichever point that is, I'll be sure to let you know to assist on such an article. :P Quiddity99 (talk) 22:39, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Thanks for your help on tagging The X-Files episodes, all episodes with their own pages are now tagged with the template. Its okay, if you want to work on stand alone for now, keep up the good work. --TIAYN (talk) 00:36, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed all references to Samantha Mulder being a clone. I've replied to your talk page message. And i was not sure what you ment with the reception section..... But i expanded it, so take a look (Two Fathers). --TIAYN (talk) 23:14, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to start working on "The Truth article tomorrow, could you add any information from your books to the text before i start? Thanks --TIAYN (talk) 23:42, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Don't have much at this point, just a few quotes perhaps from The Complete X-Files book. Go ahead with it, if I add anything I'll do it after you're finished. Quiddity99 (talk) 16:53, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
I have'nt seen/or don't remember much of the episode and can't find any useful summaries at the world wide web. So i hoped that you could add and write a plot summary for "The Unnatural (The X-Files)" article, and some missing production information if you want to. --TIAYN (talk) 15:58, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly! Got plenty of information I can add for that episode, at least on the production side. Quiddity99 (talk) 18:21, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
I've added as much production info to "The Truth" article, so can you look for any missing needed info. Last note, can you rewrite the plot for the episode? --TIAYN (talk) 20:46, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Added some quotes from the show's crew about the finale; that appears to be all I have in my X-Files books right now. Unfortunately can't contribute to the plot just yet, as I haven't seen that episode in a number of years. Still going through the entire series chronologically on DVD (in late season 7 now), so I'll catch up to it eventually though. :) Quiddity99 (talk) 22:38, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
That's fine with me! And again, thanks for your help. --TIAYN (talk) 05:35, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well the main factor at first is how much production info for each episodes. If its not than create the article, but the title should be named [[The Sixth Extinction (episodes) or something like that, given the situation. If you ask me, it depends on how much production information their exists for both episodes, if its much on "The Sixth Extinction", and nearly nothing on "Amor Fati", create one specific article. But by the end of day i don't cear, as long as the article has decent real-world information and well written.

Go ahead on creating a single article for both episodes, if you want to. --TIAYN (talk) 17:17, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mythology layout

[edit]

As i had nothing against the previous plan for the Mythology of The X-Files article, it seems to be incomplete and badly written according to some banners. So i'm going back to my previous plan of making it a "plot summary" for the mytharc episodes. I'm wondering if you could write the plot summary of the Mythology from season 1-5, and add it on my talk page. Then i'll complete the summary from season 6-9. Does this sound reasonable? --TIAYN (talk) 20:37, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine with me. I'm fine with going through the Biogenesis/Sixth Extinction three parter. After that the show completely collapses and I have no problem with someone else working on the rest. :P How do the rest of the editors feel about that? Would we be keeping the previous material or simply overwriting it with the summary?Quiddity99 (talk) 20:52, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
If you have a big story arc for the mythology article, it will be easier to introduce real-world information, such as reception and development information on how they created the story arc. My experience with mythology articles is that they mostly include only In-Universe information, which this one does. The article is also incomplete.
But if your unsure, its okay. You can start a discussion thread on the Mythology talk page or the WikiProject.
You really have some well-written articles such as "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" (needs a larger plot summary) and "The Unnatural" which are the two best written X-Files articles here on wikipedia, if you ask me. You also have plenty of other articles such as "The End", "Zero Sum", "Memento Mori" and "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man" among others. If they are ever going to become GA's, they are going to need a larger lead for all of them.
Many of your articles are close to becoming GA's, but are missing some information, most noteful in release and reception information. I can help you with this. But i'm pretty sure that nearly all the episodes with a good lead, decent development and reception/release information will become GA's.
Most of your articles will pass the GA criteria if you add more of what i said above (longer leads and more reception/release information). If you want, you can contact me. --TIAYN (talk) 15:43, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You should also nominate "Beyond the Sea" to GA! --TIAYN (talk) 18:08, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've added the mythology story arc's of the eight and ninth season on the Mythology of The X-Files articles. Should i add the sixth and seventh season story arc to?

Can you add the story arc for three, four and five? to the mythology article? --TIAYN (talk) 17:48, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'll finish up season two and will take care of those seasons (I can take care of season 6 too if you want) as soon as I have some available time. May not be until the weekend. Quiddity99 (talk) 22:10, 8 September 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
Okay... Question, i've tried and tried to find conceptual history to the Alien Bounty Hunter and Black oil articles, but can't find enough to warrant their own article. My question is, would you think it would be a good idea to redirect both those two articles into the Colonist article, which is also struggeling for Notability? --TIAYN (talk) 12:40, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think I'm gonna be able to find much of that stuff myself, so that may be necessary. :( Quiddity99 (talk) 13:07, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]
OKay than. I've merged both articles + the Men in Black (The X-Files) article into the Syndicate (The X-Files) article. --TIAYN (talk) 19:08, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your comment at my talk page. --TIAYN (talk) 13:53, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's okay, the real-world is more important than En.Wikipedia. --TIAYN (talk) 05:30, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your back! ;D Thanks for your work on the "Sleepless" article..--TIAYN (talk) 06:10, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you returned "The episode contained a number of references and in-jokes. Hlass County was named after UFO author Philip Hlass, whose line about UFOs being mistaken for the planet Venus was used by one of the men in black in the episode. " with the edit summary of "returning sourced material". Due to the nature of Wikipedia (where conents can easily and frequently be changed by editors who do not realize or care that content must be sourced) if all of these claims are from the same source, can you add the appropriate citation to each claim? WikiProject The X-Files

[edit]

Hi! I just joined this WikiProject and noticed that you were in it too. I was wondering if there was anything specifically that was needed to be done or that you needed help with. Right now I'm working on clearing out Category:Unassessed The X-Files Articles.

Thanks! Hardtofindaname 06:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding reception information where possible to the episode articles would be very helpful. This would entail looking for reviews (both positive and negative) and including info on those reviews within the reception area (similar to say the Lost episode articles). General copyedits of all episode articles would probably be useful too. No harm in another set of eyes looking at them. Thanks! Quiddity99 (talk) 11:21, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Quiddity99[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:X-files episode 24 image.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:X-files episode 24 image.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Quiddity99! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 689 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Tomonori Kogawa - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Yoku Shioya - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

AfD nomination of Ice (The X-Files)

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Ice (The X-Files). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ice (The X-Files). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Craig anysportinastorm.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Craig anysportinastorm.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:49, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sylvia Zaradic has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A7 - this person works for a living - nothing more. Not notable - I've checked.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MarkDask 23:03, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Vaultkeeperanddrusilla.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Vaultkeeperanddrusilla.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:02, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Wsf23.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Wsf23.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
