List from Webber et al. (2010) [Brachyura only]

[edit]

Here's a formatted version. It will still need to be checked against the current list and so on, but there shouldn't be many problems. There's no need to include Anomura necessarily. It was just that the previous source explicitly included them. If the new source doesn't claim that "crabs" = Brachyura + Anomura, then now is a good time to cull them from the list. --Stemonitis (talk) 07:54, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I assume that "E" is endemic; I haven't marked those species, yet. I also don't know what "T", "F" and "A" mean, and it may (or may not) be worth marking those, too. --Stemonitis (talk) 07:58, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The whole article here is a bit redundant, as it will be done on WS as part of of an overall N.Z. biota project (and I will leave the article here now in your capable hands) ... Carcinologist2 (talk) 08:02, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I haven't got time at the moment, but maybe when I'm back, I'll find some time for it. Could you find out what the T, F, and A mean? --Stemonitis (talk) 08:07, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Bearing in mind that these codes apply to the entire N.Z. Crustacea, T=terrestrial, F=freshwater and A=adventive ... Carcinologist2 (talk) 06:46, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
