Number 123 - Here comes the Sun

This yacht was correctly showing as 89metres a couple of months ago - but has now been reduced to 83metres in this listing. I find this strange as the actual entry for this yacht (click through) correctly states it had a recent refit when its length was indeed increased by 6 metres from its launch length of 83 metres to its current length of 89 metres. It has recently sold, and all the marketing videos and materials (burgess, frasers etc.) state it to be 89 metres - this would push it substantially back up your listing to about 90th from 123rd............in reality i think it is outside the top 100 biggest yachts, but assume the difference is in current omissions/gaps in the wikipedia listing.

This should be corrected. 86.16.220.71 (talk) 01:24, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also the thumbnail shown is in the original 83m livery - a kind of beige hull - whereas, in her refitted 89m livery she has a blue hull. 86.16.220.71 (talk) 01:28, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done - And if you're aware of any other (completed and active) yachts longer than 75m (≈250 ft) and can provide sourcing for support, then feel free to post them here on the talk page and either I or another editor will try to help see them added to the list. - wolf 06:28, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Error on ship 154 Dannebrog

[edit]

In the article it says, that the owner of Dannebrog (Ship nr. 154) is Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. This is wrong. First of all, the ship is owned by the Danish state and is a part of the Danish navy (https://www.forsvaret.dk/en/organisation/navy/structure-of-the-navy/ under 1st Squadron ).

It is only used by the royal family. The current sovereign of Denmark is not Queen Margerethe II, but King Frederik X.

So should the danish royal ship be on the list, when it's owned by the state? 77.33.188.57 (talk) 09:11, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
