Monument #145 (Dolmen of the Four Maols) is not a portal tomb.

[edit]

Apart from the name "Dolmen" nowhere in the relevant literature is this megalithic structure classified as a Portal Tomb. Should be changed.--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 17:12, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst it is true that there is a common contention that this "dolmen" is actually a Kist or Cist burial, its designation as a portal tomb comes from the Irish National Monuments Service who list it as such, and from which this list has been based. I have not removed your citation needed tag, but I do believe it to be unwarranted. Smirkybec (talk) 14:33, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Carbad More: ringfort or court cairn?

[edit]

According to the description it is a ringfort, but according to the article it is a court cairn. What is it?--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 12:38, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
