Royals of England (Wales and Ireland) and Scotland

[edit]

Several members listed here as "Also Prince of England, Scotland and Ireland" which is not correct. Before the accession of George I of UK, only available "Prince" of England/Great-Britain was "Prince of Wales" which was granted to the male heir apparent by the King. "Prince" related to Scotland was "Prince and the Great Steward of Scotland" also allocated to heir apparent, but it was not a primary title, Scottish (and British) heirs apparent were(are) known as "Duke of Rothesay" in Scotland. Other male Royals styled (later officially created) Duke of [X] from birth. if not as Lord. Therefore "Prince of England, Scotland and Ireland" should be removed and more suitable wording should be used. Chamika1990 (talk) 14:49, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
