Re-Vamp Page?[edit]

Since someone RUDELY changed the display of the Hannah Montana Songs to songs in the series but this section is for songs from the ALBUM in the series not ALL the songs. So I made a page with what I feel the page should look like: [[1]], unless we can get the old page view back. What do you guys think? Relax guys. I'm sorry you thought it was rude; that's not what I was going for. I can be a poor judge of what will or won't be controversial. Just remember if you don't like it it's as simple as undoing it.

Now, Alec2011 says that I don't understand what the page is for. I'm sorry, there isn't anything that gives a specific "mission statement" for the article anywhere. So can you tell me? Just going on my own, I figured that if people want to know which songs are on which albums, they would just go to the album articles themselves. So having them organized that way seemed redundant to me. It seems that the only point to having an article like this is to show where the songs appear in the series. Because there is so much overlap between where they appear in the series and where they appear in the albums I did it this way.

And if your main complaint is that it's harder to edit because the list is too long, then we could always divide it by season. So there, I've opened a discussion. Be nice please. Pigby (talk) 21:03, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I yelled at you, opening a discussion before a major change is appreciated rather than making a fight as what happened. The problame isn't that it's hard to edit, it's just there's too much info that shouldn't be there. Why are you saying that Miley Cyrus sang Nobody's Perfect when Hannah Montana sings it (I know they're the same person, however on the album is says Hannah Montana so that should be changed). This article is made for JUST the songs on the albums (NOT THE OTHER SONGS) sung by the other characters in the show (those should be added at the bottom under songs not on the soundtrack).
The main purpose of this article is to show where the songs on the Season Album, where they first aired in the episodes. It's JUST for the Songs on the albums. The songs not featured on the albums will be put at the BOTTOM of the page, not in the article. - Alec2011 (talk) 23:29, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I took this article as a Hannah Montana discography, cross referenced with the series to show episode introduced, and a list of songs featured on the series, but now there is a Hannah Montana discography. I do think that songs that were not sung by HM, or featured on the series should not be included, and there should be an indication of which were sung as Hannah, and which as Miley. 117Avenue (talk) 00:01, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Exactly, this page is made as JUST a Hannah Montana Lis of Songs from the Soundtrack page, not so much as Disography page. Like it was before, the songs ONLY sung by Hannah and songs featured on the Soundtrack only belong in the MAIN part of the page. Songs not sung by Hannah Montana belong at the bottom of the page and shown which episode they were featured in. And I don't get why the person who changed the article in the first place put songs that are sung by HANNAH put them as MILEY. Yes they are the smae person, however the soundtrack says HANNAH not Miley so that should be changed. - Alec2011 (talk) 18:28, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
