This list forgot its purpose and is not user-friendly

This list was created on 20 June 2020‎. It was generated by copying names from the list of lesbian characters in List of LGBT characters in television and radio. However, the original list contained 397 names. Currently, this list contains 192. This equals a deletion of 205 names -- character names that have disappeared without justification. (If the reason many names were ignored was because they had citation needed templates: if there was no purpose for having a {{Citation needed}} template, the template wouldn't exist in Wikipedia.)

Furthermore, the format of this list is screwy. The original list was organized by character name. This list is organized by year. The point of having a list such as this is supposed to be the characters, not the year or years when the characters appeared in a TV series. The first column should be the character names and they should be listed by alphabetical order, because finding the characters is what readers are interest in. Additionally, whereas the original list presented characters as individual and separate, many characters have been lumped together in this list simply because they appear or appeared in the same series.

This list needs to be redone with emphasis on what is best and more useful for the reader. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 06:23, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
