Vukovar twinning
[edit]Hello, let me explain why I reverted your edits:
1) The cooperation with other Croatian municipalities is not twinning. By definition, twinning is a cross-border link. For most twin towns lists, domestic ties are listed because they are rather unusual and often have a historical reason. Croatian cities usually include more domestic than foreign partners in the lists, and although the term is the same in Croatian, it cannot be considered twinning. There is also often a contradiction where one municipality mentions another, but the another does not consider the first one a twin town. Therefore, in general, Croatian partners are not listed and there is no reason why they should be listed at Vukovar. This approach is applied to Turkish and South Korean lists for the same reasons.
2) To be literal, none of the municipalities on the Vukovar website is listed as a twin town. The website speaks only about friendship and cooperation agreements. It is not possible to take it literally. Partizánské, which website is more reliable source than Vukovar's website (see the next point), consider Vukovar a twin town and Vukovar, which does not work with this term anywhere, confirmed the bonding on its website.
3) As i mentioned, by definition, in order for towns to be considered twin towns, they must list each other. Merging different types of cooperation into one section is a problem of some cities especially in Central and Eastern Europe. So, where possible, it is necessary to confront sources and separate twinning from other forms of co-operation. One section for cooperation is also case of Vukovar's website. Therefore Sarajevo is not included, because it lists Vukovar only as a friendly city (see the official list of twin towns of Sarajevo and official list of friendly cities of Sarajevo).
I hope it helped.
