Villages vs. Other Municipalities

[edit]

Someone needs to add a part about how villages differ in government from townships and incorporated cities. --Criticalthinker 10:09, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Most Populous Village

[edit]

I've heard that Caro calls itself the largest village in Michigan, but is actually sixth of seventh. What is actually the most populous village in Michigan? --Criticalthinker (talk) 02:27, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to the 2007 U.S. Census Bureau estimates, Caro is eight. According to the 2000 Census, it was sixth (since surpassed by Dundee and New Haven). The largest is Beverly Hills. The top ten (2007):
1 Beverly Hills 9,919
2 Milford 6,492
3 Holly 6,324
4 New Haven 5,083
5 Wolverine Lake 4,325
6 Dundee 4,231
7 Sparta 4,069
8 Caro 4,068
9 Romeo 3,758
10 Oxford 3,545
