The huge list of "also known as" names
[edit]A lot of these are clearly not English. I don't know why we need a list of foreign synonyms on English Wiktionary; at the very least they should be sorted so that we know what language each is used in. Equinox ◑ 15:03, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
- Agree, and in fact WP:Plants#Common names recommends that only those common names that are both English and well known be included in an article. Junglenut | Talk 21:23, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
- Slight misinterpretation in my previous comment - only English common names to be used in English Wikipedia, and well known ones to be mentioned in the introduction Junglenut | Talk 21:26, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
