ACS publications and Cricket Archive all have the third day of the first match being 27th Sep. However both Cricket: A Weekly Record of the Game and Red Lilly have it on the 28th. Since 27th was a Sunday it is likely that 28th is correct.Nigej 18:55, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Philip Bailey confirms the error and has correct CricketArchive accordingly.Nigej 14:27, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
I've got a mild aversion to "In the English winter of 1891–92". Perhaps "At the end of the 1891 season" Nigej 16:46, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps the page itself ought to refer to 1891 rathyer than 1891-92. Nigej 17:06, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
October is generally considered to be part of the 1891–92 season. I'd agree with the change in the prose without any issues, but the title should probably stay as it is. Feel free to bring it up at WT:CRIC though, there is a wealth of knowledge there! Harriastalk 19:07, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
