Record Sales for Love Child
[edit]It is, grossly, unlikely that Love Child sold 500,00 within the first week of release! This is "Utter Bullshit"! Also, highly unlikely that Love Child sold 2,000.000 within its initial longevity of The Billboard Charts. It may have eventually sold 2,000.00 an toto by 1988. There are no source documents to support either figures. Spenser - The Unknown (talk) 19:19, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
You are more than welcome to go back in time & get those sales records. The rumor going around was that Berry was actually under reporting sales figures for the Supremes to undercut investors, so it could have actually sold more. Your cognitive dissonance about what an African American singing group can achieve does not merit change on this article. Now if you can find reputable sources that back up up your claim, go ahead.FusionLord (talk) 12:49, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
