Reconcile[edit]

Can some one reconcile the data in the infobox with the data in ME-1 (New York City Subway car)#Specifications? Peter Horn User talk 01:07, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

Can we please try to search for newer pictures of the ME-1? The current picture does not even show the whole car. The second thing is that if possible, it would be good to search for a picture of the interior.--Davidng913 (talk) 19:22, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

cars 388 and 366 not being restored[edit]

I'm going to remove the bits about the two surviving cars "undergoing restoration". First, regarding #388, the cited reference makes no mention of a restoration. And second, I can say from personal observation that it is not now, and will not likely in the future, be restored. As one of the workers at the Museum told me - I visited the museum specifically to see #388 - their focus is on trolleys and streetcars, which draw their power from overhead lines. #388, at most, could only be cosmetically restored - it draws power from a third rail. Not to mention the museum has limited resources. #366 has the same problems - museum with limited resources, not able to draw power from overhead lines, etc. Simply put, if either car is being restored, there should be proper references.
