Possible Copyvio?[edit]

I have been working on improving this article and have come across web page which seems to have sections of identical text as this article, suggesting a possible WP:COPYVIO, scoring a 75.8% score on Earwig's detector. However I was unable to determine the date of publication of the source to figure out whether they copied from here. Should this be tagged as Copyvio? I have tagged this article. Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2024 February 1 Reader781 (talk) 00:36, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Wayback Machine only shows this page dating back to April 10 2021, whereas the content at issue goes back much further than that. The more likely explanation is that the external site copied from Wikipedia without attribution. I suggest removing the copyvio flag. RJ4 (talk) 01:22, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did look at Wayback Machine, but had considered the possibility that the page had existed before it was archived. However the evidence does seem to suggest of a copy from Wiki as you suggested. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I will be removing the flags from the article and withdrawing the nomination from the list via strikethrough to preserve history.
