My understanding is that the author is unknown, the title is most-widely known as The Narrative of the Old Persecutions, and that the roughly 6000-word document is sometimes referred to as the Mainz Anonymous. Most academic texts I have seen refer to it as: "The Narrative of the Old PersecutionsorMainz Anonymous," because of the author's heavy emphasis on Mainz. That is, "Mainz Anonymous" is not an author or person, but an alternative title. Given that the original title is The Narrative of the Old Persecutions, it seems to me that this should be the name of the Wikipedia article, and not Mainz Anonymous. As such, I propose a friendly WP:Move of this article name (which will simply change the name and redirect the old name, and still carry forward the editing and talk history). Is there any discussion on this? Dehma1 (talk) 04:55, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
